The Doha Toastmasters Club is the pioneer club that introduced “toast mastering” to Qatar in 1996.

Doha Toastmasters Club is the first club to start a Gavel club, that is “Doha Gavel Club (DGC)” and the first school-based gavel club, Birla Gavel Club in Qatar.

The club successfully completed 26 years of Toastmasters.

It is with great pride and a sense of responsibility that I have accepted the prestigious post of President of the Doha Toastmasters Club, as it was like a dream come true. I thank all the members of the Doha Toastmasters Club from my heart who have shown faith and confidence in me to serve as the President of the club.

Since chartering, the Doha Toastmasters Club is the President’s Distinguished Club and will continue its legacy graciously in future. We as the Ex-Com team 2023-24  will strive to achieve all the club goals

My journey as a Toastmaster started with Doha Toastmasters Club, on 1st May 2018. I acquired skills by taking initiative and observing the co-members & leaders in the club.

I am happy to share our vision for the club’s future declaring the slogan for 2023-24 as “One Team One Dream” I believe,  that if you can dream it, you can achieve it. As a team, we will foster our members to develop communication and leadership skills, resulting in greater self-confidence and personal growth as stated in our club mission.

I would like to present a some dreams for 2023-24.

1. We will encourage all the members through our intriguing meetings and encourage them to complete their projects to build confidence.

2. For the benefit of the members, the club will arrange the Education modules as prescribed by Toastmasters International to nurture their growth and help them to overcome challenges.

3. For the benefit of the members, we have plane to have teams like Pathways Guidance team, Event organization team, Awards committee.4. The Club Contest to boost the confidence of our members!

5. and fun-filled meetings to celebrate the members’ achievements and also celebrate Qatar National Day, Women’s Day, Father’s Day, sports event, and Iftar Party for our club members.

Fellow toastmaster, let me assure you, that the upcoming year will encourage you to refine your communication and leadership skills.

But then will it be possible to do it alone?

For that, we need your support and enthusiastic participation, as members grow the club grows

So let us DREAM big. “AS ONE TEAM ONE DREAM” as the Team TOGETHER, EVERYONE ACHIEVES MORE WITH OUR DREAMS DECISIONS, RESPONSIBILITY, EDUCATION, ACHIEVEMENT MOTIVATION, AND SELF ESTEEM.
